FAQ's
Are my TwoCan bands waterproof?
The TwoCan bands are water resistant (IP65). You can wear them when washing your hands and in the rain. Swimming with them is not recommended, and they must not be worn in extreme environments (e.g. diving, sauna, steam room).
When should I charge my devices?
We recommend that you charge your bands at the end of the day whenever they are below around 20% battery, roughly once each week. See: Charging your bands.
How do I know the devices are charging?
The screen should light up and the battery charging indicator will flash. If the screen remains black it means the device is not connected properly, please adjust it until the screen lights up. See: Charging your bands.
How do I sync my band?
Syncing of your band's data is attempted automatically, every time you open the TwoCan app. We recommend opening the app every day. See: Synchronizing your bands.
How do I see the activity from my bands?
You can see your activity by opening the TwoCan app on your phone and tapping on "Progress". See: Your progress.
My bands keep vibrating, what does that mean?
For users with hemiplegia, the bands are configured to give you a vibration as a prompt to remind you to use your hand and arm more in everyday activities and help you meet your movement goal. If you have reached your movement goal the band will stop prompting you. See: Using your bands - Vibration prompts.
I forgot to wear my bands today, what should I do?
That's absolutely fine. Just wear them as soon as you can, and as much as possible between 8am and 8pm, or until bedtime if that is sooner.
The screen is blank and there is a slow pulsing white light. What does this mean?
This means that the device needs recharging. See: Charging your bands.
I lost a band, what should I do?
If you happen to be in the unfortunate situation of losing a band, don't worry. You should contact the TwoCan team ASAP so we can send you a replacement to continue with the study.
